I did not stay there I talked to others who did and they were happy

Reservations are required for dinner at El Tovar, however you can get a drink at the bar (which includes sitting on the veranda) and order appetizers without a reservation.

Limited parking, maybe park at campground and walk over

I would call now and ask for a table by the back window overlooking the canyon. Worth it for sunset. If not, do the same for sunrise. However, they can squeeze you in as a hotel guest....just have a drink in the lounge while you wait.

I don't think you can get spa massage in the grand canyon. Best to stay in the big hotel outside grand canyon National Park.

I don't know but if you call the restaurant and talk to the chef they were always very very helpful during our stay.

Best lounge on rim

We stayed in a double room which was very nice. It was clean and sizeable with a lovely bathroom.
